Do you have an 'ear to the ground'? Can you write reasonably well and have a grasp of good grammar? Or are you Winslow's leading authority on local football/rugby/cricket etc? Maybe you are running societies or clubs within the town and surrounding areas? Historians, planners, thinkers, artists, holistic therapists or tightrope walkers of any description? We are looking for volunteers to keep this community website thriving and it's yours to use as a platform to promote your interests within the town to those of us within the community who use the internet to obtain our information. Winslow Community Volunteer TeamThe Environment Committee have, over the last few years, made several improvements to enhance the appearance of our town and continue to do so. Although AVDC and Bucks CC carry out essential work, we would like to establish our own Winslow Community Volunteer Team who can be called upon, as a group, every now and then to help keep Winslow looking great and suggest areas in need of attention. This might be litter picking, cleaning signs/street furniture, some weeding, light pruning etc – all good fun! So, whatever your age, if you have helped in the past or are new to volunteering we would like to hear from you.
